The screen stays black. Your world doesn't.
Surround projection systems built on an ambient-light-absorbing surface that only lights up where the image is — daylight-usable immersion from 180° to 270° field of view.
Projection re-engineered from the surface up
Conventional screens scatter every photon that hits them — including the room's. Ours doesn't. The result is contrast a white screen physically cannot produce.
Ambient light absorption
The surface absorbs room light instead of reflecting it, so the system works in demanding lighting conditions — day or night — with minimal light control.
Black HDR base
The screen stays black and turns to colour only where the projector paints it, delivering black levels a white surface can't approach.
Seamless multi-projector blending
Light intensity stays balanced regardless of direction and viewing angle — no hot spotting, and projectors blend invisibly across the curve.
4K and 3D ready
Optically consistent across the full cylinder, compatible with most short-throw projectors at variable throw distances, up to 12K across arrays.
Fifteen years in one surface
Regarded as the best ALR surface for cylindrical projection with short-throw projectors: no noticeable hot spotting, consistent intensity at any viewing angle, and seamless blending across two to sixteen projectors. This is a calibration pattern on our surface — the blend zones are there. You just can't see them.
Pick your field of view
Every system is defined by one number: how many degrees of your world it wraps. Everything else — projectors, frame, diameter — follows from that.
Avenger Series
Two-projector systems for dedicated enthusiasts and compact cockpit builds. 128-inch class, HD to dual-4K PRO, resolutions from 2K to 12K.
Centurion & B/A Series
Three-projector systems with multiview support for serious simulators. Rigid pre-assembled frames from 3.9 m to 4.5 m that carry full cockpits and motion rigs.
Desk & SimPit Warp
The multipurpose simulation desk, plus SimPit Warp — warping and blending software chosen as an option when you configure your screen, with camera-based auto-alignment on the PRO tier.
Built for the simulators that train people
SimPit screens are deployed in commercial flight and racing simulators, cockpit wraparounds, mixed-reality medical visualisation, and computer-vision test environments for automotive and AI development.

From the people flying them
“I bought an Icarus Avenger 180. Delivered right on time in Belgium as agreed. This is amazing — certainly for flight sims like DCS World or Star Citizen, iRacing… Super product.”
“Amazing company. They work hard to make sure you are happy. A great source for all games.”
“I never write reviews, but this product I am 100% behind. Thank you for supplying exactly what I need for my flying experiences.”
Proven on the world's biggest stage
SimPit debuted at CES in Las Vegas, putting our surround projection technology in front of the global industry. Sixteen years of manufacturing in New Zealand, one obsession: the most immersive projection surface in the world.
